Loytu Product Update – Aug 25 – Some Hot Changes

Back in our May update, we shared some big steps forward for Loytu. Since then, we’ve been busy making things faster, smoother, and most importantly, easier for you and your customers. This month, we’ve got some hot changes to talk about. Let’s dive in:
🌱 Launching Our Grassroots Program
We’ve officially launched our Grassroots Football Sponsorship Program. It’s our way of reaching out to UK based grassroots football teams offering them the chance to utilise Loytu FREE for 12 months.
⚡ Faster Kiosk Mode
Kiosk mode has had a serious tune-up. It’s now quicker and more reliable, so stamping at the counter is as seamless as possible just like the main app.
📱 Loytu App on iOS & Android
Good news: Loytu is now available on both the App Store and Google Play, alongside the web app.
Why? While our web app works great (and can still be bookmarked like a normal app), iOS users told us that using it could be a bit fiddly. With the native app, you’ll save precious seconds every time you stamp. Because speed matters.
🎨 A New Card Design Flow
We’ve redesigned the card creation process. Now, you can see and feel how your cards look at each step, making the design experience more intuitive and fun.
✉️ Send Cards by Email
No more relying solely on QR codes or share links. You can now email cards to customers directly from the app. Super handy when setting things up or helping someone join quickly.
🔍 Smarter Card Management
You can now:
- Manage and search for customer cards directly in the app.
- Stamp retrospectively if needed (because sometimes things get missed in the moment).
⚙️ Optimised Stamping, Scanning & Redeeming
We’ve put extra polish into the most important part of Loytu: giving and redeeming stamps. These core processes are now smoother and faster than ever.
🏷️ Labels & Friendly Identifiers
To help you stay organised, you can now:
- Add internal labels to customer cards for faster lookups or system integrations.
- Use new friendly card identifiers (like
RapidCar786orVastCrane659) instead of just serial numbers. These IDs will also start to show up on customer cards, making searching and managing much easier.
