Loytu Renews Free Grassroots Football Club Sponsorship for the 2026/27 Season

Following the launch of our grassroots football sponsorship last season, we are pleased to confirm that the offer is returning for 2026/27.
Selected grassroots football clubs can apply for free access to Loytu throughout the new season, helping you introduce digital loyalty cards for your club café, bar or matchday refreshment counter.
There are no paper cards to print, no customer app to download and no complicated equipment for volunteers to operate. Just a simple way to reward supporters, encourage repeat purchases and generate more income for the club.
Supporting the people who keep grassroots football running
Grassroots football depends on people giving up their time. Every weekend, volunteer coaches, committee members, parents and supporters work behind the scenes to organise fixtures, maintain facilities, serve food and drinks, raise funds and create opportunities for people to play football.
Club cafés, bars and refreshment counters can make an important contribution to that work.
A few pounds spent on hot drinks, snacks and post-match food might not sound significant on its own, but those purchases can add up across hundreds of players, families and fixtures throughout a season.
The challenge is encouraging supporters to keep choosing the clubhouse rather than stopping somewhere else on the way home.
That is where a simple loyalty programme can help.
Free Loytu access for the 2026/27 season
Through the renewed sponsorship offer, selected grassroots football clubs will receive free access to Loytu for the 2026/27 season, subject to application. Clubs can use Loytu to create a digital loyalty programme that rewards supporters for purchases such as:
- Hot drinks
- Matchday snacks
- Clubhouse food
- Bar purchases
- Tournament refreshments
- Regular clubhouse visits
The club chooses what qualifies for a stamp, how many stamps a supporter needs to collect and what reward they will receive. A café might offer a free hot drink after ten purchases. A clubhouse bar could offer money off a future order. A junior tournament might reward families with a free snack or children’s treat.
The programme can be kept simple or adjusted as the club learns what works best for its supporters.
But be quick, free Loytu is only open to 50 clubs!
Why digital loyalty works for grassroots clubs
Paper loyalty cards are familiar, but they are not always practical. They get left at home, damaged in pockets or lost before the supporter reaches their reward. Clubs also need to arrange printing and replacements, while volunteers have no simple way to track whether the loyalty programme is being used.
Loytu keeps the supporter’s card on their phone.
Supporters can open their card through a link or QR code and save it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. They do not need to download a separate customer app or create another complicated account.
When they make a qualifying purchase, a club volunteer scans the supporter’s QR code and adds a digital stamp.
This gives families and supporters a visible reason to return to the café or clubhouse at the next fixture.
Designed to be simple for volunteers
A grassroots loyalty programme will only work if it is easy to manage on a busy matchday.
Volunteers should not have to spend several minutes finding customer details or navigating a complicated till system while a queue forms behind them.
With Loytu, authorised volunteers can scan and stamp customer cards quickly. Clubs can also use kiosk mode, allowing trusted volunteers to issue stamps without giving them full access to the club’s main account.
The loyalty programme can then continue operating even when different volunteers are serving from one week to the next.
There are no physical stamps to store, no cards to hand out and no specialist scanning equipment to purchase.
Create a loyalty card that represents your club
A club loyalty card should feel like part of the club, not a generic voucher handed out by a third party.
Clubs can create a digital card that reflects their identity and gives supporters a recognisable reward experience.
Once the programme has been created, the club can share its QR code:
- Around the clubhouse
- At the café counter
- On menus and price lists
- In matchday programmes
- Through social media
- In emails to parents and members
- On posters at tournaments and events
Supporters can scan the code, collect their card and begin working towards their first reward.
Encourage more repeat matchday purchases
Loyalty programmes do not need to rely on large discounts.
The objective is to give supporters a small but meaningful reason to return.
A parent who normally buys one coffee may be more likely to visit the café at every home fixture when they can see themselves moving closer to a free drink.
A family attending a tournament might return to the club refreshment counter for their next purchase rather than leaving the ground.
These individual decisions can create more regular income across the season.
The reward benefits the supporter, while the repeat purchases help support the club.
Understand how supporters are engaging
Unlike a paper card, a digital loyalty programme allows the club to see how it is being used.
Clubs can track stamp activity, reward redemptions and engagement throughout the season.
This can help the committee understand which rewards are working and whether supporters are returning.
A club might discover that hot-drink rewards perform particularly well during winter fixtures, while food or snack rewards generate more engagement during tournaments.
The programme can then be refined based on real activity rather than guesswork.
How to apply for the 2026/27 sponsorship
Getting started is straightforward.
Clubs should create a Loytu account and complete the grassroots football sponsorship application. Once the application has been reviewed and accepted, the account will be moved onto the sponsored grassroots offer.
The club can then:
- Create its digital loyalty programme.
- Choose what supporters need to do to earn a stamp.
- Select the reward.
- Add its club branding.
- Share the programme around the clubhouse.
- Begin scanning and stamping supporter cards.
Free sponsored places are limited and are available to 50 selected grassroots football clubs for the 2026/27 season.
Give supporters another reason to support the club
Your players, families and supporters are already turning up each week.
A digital loyalty programme gives them another reason to visit the clubhouse, purchase a drink, grab something to eat and continue supporting the club beyond the touchline.
Loytu is proud to renew its grassroots football sponsorship for the 2026/27 season.
Applications are now open. Apply for a free grassroots football club account and start building matchday loyalty.
