Understanding Stamps, Rewards, and Programs
Loytu uses three key concepts to run your digital loyalty program: stamps, rewards, and programs. Here’s how they work together.
Stamps
A stamp is a digital mark given to a customer when they complete a qualifying action — such as making a purchase, visiting your business, or ordering a specific item.
- Each stamp is linked to a program (see below).
- You can set how many stamps a customer needs to unlock a reward.
- Loytu automatically tracks stamps in your customers’ digital stamp cards.
Example: You run a coffee shop and give 1 stamp for each coffee purchased.
Rewards
A reward is what your customer earns after collecting enough stamps. Rewards can be anything you choose, like:
- A free product
- A discount
- An exclusive service
- Rewards are tied to a specific program, so customers always know exactly what they’re working towards.
Example: After collecting 6 coffee stamps, the customer gets a free coffee.
Programs
A program is your complete loyalty offer — the combination of:
- How stamps are earned
- How many stamps are needed
- What the reward is
You can have multiple programs running at once, for different products or services.
Example:
- Program 1: “Coffee Club” — 6 stamps = free coffee
- Program 2: “Lunch Loyalty” — 8 stamps = free sandwich
How They Work Together
- The customer completes a qualifying action → they get a stamp.
- Stamps are collected within a program.
- Once enough stamps are collected in that program → the customer unlocks the reward.
Tip: In Loytu’s free plan, you can create up to 2 programs and give 25 stamps per month (topping up to a maximum of 25). Our paid plans offer more programs and unlimited stamps.
